Horezu: Romania’s magical place, perfect during rainy days

Who says that a rainy day scares everyone away? At 5 Senses Romania, we do believe that rain – especially the early autumn rain – reveals and enhances each and every scent and color. Courtesy of our travelers, Vali and her lovely family, we’d like to tease your senses and travelling appetite with a photo gallery from their recent getaway to Horezu, the heart of traditional Romanian pottery.

Horezu is located at the foot of the Southern Carpathians, about 200 km away from Bucharest, in the Piedmont Oltenia (Oltenia de sub munte). There is plenty to do in Horezu and the surroundings, but that is another travelling story as we start our Autumn delights series. For now, we invite you to visually enjoy our travelers’ adventure.
